I never got a diaper for Moroni because he was too small and the hospital didn't have anything for him.
Nicholas was able to wear a real diaper, but it was HUGE on him.
When I saw these tiny diapers on the Teeny Tears blog, I fell in love with them. They are so simple and so sweet and so thoughtful.
One of the things I love about the project is that TWO are made for each family. One that will stay on the baby, and one that the family can keep in their memory box. I really like that because Nicholas was actually buried without a diaper because that is something that didn't cross our minds before we went to the funeral home to dress him. So, we just dressed him in his clothes. But, it would have been nice to lay him in his earthly grave with one of these sweet diapers.
I feel like these tiny diapers aren't really a necessity, but they are something nice and comfy, that can bring comfort to the grieving family, knowing that their baby is dressed in at least a diaper.
